Our Kids and our CommunityI am a loving dad of a Larson Grade One student, a North Shore raised husband and a lifelong educator.
I have a Master of Education (Counselling), Brandon University and a Bachelor of Physical Education (Business), UBC. Granville College, Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia Community College, Vancouver College, Brandon University, Basketball Canada, Capilano College, and UBC are where I served as Director and BC recognized Senior Educational Administrator, a Counsellor, a Coach, a Teacher, a Manager and a Facility Supervisor. I married a marathon runner, so I became one too. We swam in the ocean and biked the North Shore mountains and five Ironmans later, I became Dad. For me education has always been about the kids first. Because of great teachers who loved basketball and organized rugby tours I developed my passion and I was able to give back to students through a career guided by a love of sports. Education for me is not about wins and losses or specifically measured educational outcomes, but it is about each students experiences, developing the ability to make good choices and creating the opportunity to become what ever they dream to be. Who am I? I am an experienced educational professional who will make sure that all students have the opportunity to strive for their own excellence through the best possible management of current and future plans for our community.
